At Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, our oncology service provides comprehensive consultations, diagnostic services, staging, and treatment plans for all types of companion animal cancers. Our full-time oncology team is available for appointments from Tuesday to Friday.

What to expect

Personalized Care

Before your appointment, our oncologist will thoroughly review your pet’s medical history. During the visit, your pet will undergo a complete physical exam. Based on the findings, we will recommend additional diagnostic tests and treatment options. We will discuss the cancer type, prognosis, and develop a tailored treatment plan for your pet and your family.

In-Depth Consultations

Our initial consultation appointments are scheduled for 1-2 hours to address all your questions and provide a detailed discussion. In many cases, we can perform recommended diagnostic tests and treatments on the same day, though some may require a follow-up visit. 

Collaborative Approach

A summary of your pet’s visit will be shared with your primary care veterinarian, ensuring they remain an integral part of your pet’s care. Our goal is to work as a team with your veterinarian and you to provide the highest level of care for your pet.
