ABOUT US

Central Hospital is a growing, privately owned, multi-disciplinary referral and emergency group in Southern Connecticut. We are looking for candidates from all disciplines who are team oriented and motivated towards growth with a commitment to collaborative care and practicing the highest quality of medicine. An interest in clinical research is also a plus. Those with outstanding communication skills and a positive attitude will thrive in our busy, fast-paced environment.     

Central Hospital has two locations in North Haven and Guilford, CT minutes from New Haven and Yale University and the Connecticut shoreline. Started as an emergency center in 1974 in downtown New Haven, we expanded to our current 20,000 sq. ft.+ facility in 2013. Our in house staff includes 26 doctors, seven of whom are dedicated to emergency care. Our veterinarians are supported by a diverse hospital team of nurses technicians, assistants and administrators.

Our positions offer recruited candidates excellent pay including retirement match, medical, dental and vision insurance with optional health savings or flexible spending account, as well as compensation for licensing and professional memberships/dues. A continuing education stipend and paid vacation are also standard. Located less than 1.5 hours from New York City and approximately 3 hours from Boston. Red Sox and Yankee fans are equally encouraged to apply!!

Central Hospital has two locations. Our North Haven location is minutes away from beautiful downtown New Haven and the cultural center of Yale University and many other institutes of higher learning. Our Guilford location is on the Connecticut shoreline with open access to Long Island Sound. A broad range of New England outdoor activities are in close proximity as well. New Haven County is home to many excellent school districts, beautiful residential neighborhoods, pastoral countryside property, beachfront amenities and centuries of rich New England history. Our belief in serving the community has been and continues to be the core of our mission.
