Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine is always open, including holidays. Walk-in emergencies are welcome.

Central Hospital has two locations in North Haven and Guilford, CT minutes from New Haven and Yale University and the Connecticut shoreline. Started as an emergency center in 1974 in downtown New Haven, we expanded to our current 20,000 sq. ft.+ facility in 2013. Our in-house staff includes over 30 doctors, over half of whom are board certified specialists. Our veterinarians are supported by a diverse hospital team of specialized technicians, certified technicians, assistants, and administrators.
